(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Senior Al Qaeda leader and deputy of Ayman al-Zawahiri, died in a US drone attack in Pakistan on Friday, local media reported on Saturday.
Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdul Rehman Al-Hussainan was having breakfast when a missile fired from a drone targeted him in a Pakistani tribal region, media reports said.
The senior militant leader’s death was announced on militant websites and was later confirmed by US officials.
Al-Hussainan had been seen in numerous al-Qaeda videos offering religious training to the group’s operatives. The videos were circulated by al Qaeda’s media wing Al Shabab.
